WHOIS Lookup β Domain Registration & Expiry Info
WHOIS is a public database that stores registration information for domain names. Use our WHOIS lookup to find who registered a domain, when it expires, which registrar manages it, and its nameservers.
What can WHOIS tell me?
WHOIS reveals: domain creation date, expiry date, registrar, nameservers, and (for non-private registrations) registrant contact info. Useful for domain research and due diligence.
Why does WHOIS show "Redacted"?
GDPR and similar privacy laws require registrars to hide personal contact information. Domain owners can also pay for WHOIS privacy protection services.
What is EPP status?
EPP status codes describe a domain's state: clientTransferProhibited (can't be transferred), serverHold (suspended), ok (normal). Multiple statuses can apply simultaneously.
How do I know if a domain will expire soon?
Check the "Expiry" date in the WHOIS result. If less than 30 days remain, you'll see a warning badge. Set a reminder to renew before expiry to avoid losing your domain.
