Ping Test
Test network latency (ICMP ping) to any hostname or IP address from multiple global locations.
What is ping?
Ping sends ICMP Echo Request packets to measure round-trip time (RTT) — how long it takes for a packet to reach a host and return.
Global nodes
Tests from Frankfurt (DE), Dallas (US), London (UK) and other check-host.net nodes for geographical comparison.
Good latency?
Under 20ms = excellent (same region). 20-100ms = good. 100-200ms = acceptable. Over 300ms = poor.
Ping blocked?
Many servers block ICMP. A failed ping doesn't always mean the host is down — HTTP/TCP may still work.
